Blue Lady [Revisited] in Helsinki October 27–31
Tero Saarinen’s critically praised reinterpretation of Carolyn Carlson’s historic solo, Blue Lady, will receive its Helsinki premiere on October 27. The performances at the Alexander Theatre are part of the Classics of Poetic Dance season (Oct. 27–31). This offers a unique overview of the work of Carolyn Carlson and Jorma Uotinen, which has had a major influence on the development of Finnish stage and dance aesthetics.
Carolyn Carlson kicks off the season on October 23 with the Finnish premiere of her latest solo. After Tero Saarinen’s performances of Blue Lady [Revisited] the following week, the young talents of P.D.C. Pori Dance Company take over our home stage for last week of the season, with two of Jorma Uotinen’s classics, performed by P.D.C. - featuring visiting dancers Jarkko Mandelin and Mikko Lampinen (HDC).

TRIPLE BILL OPENS TOMORROW IN HELSINKI
The two week season of Tero Saarinen Company’s widely acclaimed Triple Bill opens at the Alexander Theatre on Tuesday, August 25. The performances (Tue-Fri at 7pm) at our home stage in Helsinki continue until September 4, 2009. RAVE REVIEWS FOR BLUE LADY IN FINLAND
Blue Lady [Revisited] received it’s Finnish premiere on Saturday, June 13 at the Kuopio Dance Festival. The two performances were followed by standing ovations and rave reviews in Finnish media.

ACTIVITIES IN 13 COUNTRIES – TWO SEASONS IN HELSINKI
Tero Saarinen Company is touring the world ever more frequently: in 2009 the company will have activities in a record-breaking 13 countries. This fall there are also an exceptional two performance seasons in its hometown, Helsinki.
The widely acclaimed Triple Bill will be seen at the Alexander Theatre from August 25 to September 4 and Tero will perform Blue Lady [Revisited] – the praised reinterpretation of Carolyn Carlson’s legendary solo – on the same stage in October (27-31).
