Internship Programme

Tero Saarinen Company runs a regular internship programme. Each year, TSC provides two to three interns a chance to develop their professional skills by working on the Company’s productions. The programme is aimed for students and recent graduates with a passion towards arts management, production and marketing of dance performances. Also tailored artistic internships are possible.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, our internship programme will, unfortunately, not be open for the season 2021/22.

“There is probably no better place in Finland for someone interested in the dance field to experience working in an international environment. A great and inspiring workplace with solid professionals from whose work you can learn a lot.”

- SANNA LANGINKOSKI, PRODUCTION COORDINATOR, HELSINKI FILMI (TSC INTERN 2016)

“My internship and the whole TSC gang was awesome! I learned a lot of new skills, but also things about myself and the direction I want to go after graduation. It was always so nice to come to the office and everyone immediately made feel included in the TSC community. It was also easy to start as a trainee because the instructions were clear and made with experience. So far the most educational and interesting experience of my career, a big thank you!”

- MARIA WESTÖ, ADMINISTRATOR, FAZER KONSERTTITOIMISTO (TSC INTERN 2016)

‘’After completing my Master’s, I participated in TSC’s internship programme via TE Office’s work trial funding. I learned a lot about the field and the experience was unforgettable. It is great that Tero Saarinen Company is able to offer training opportunities and professional work guidance for new graduates. I can warmly recommend it!”

- JENNI PÖYRY, COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, MELLAKKA HELSINKI (TSC INTERN 2015)

’’My experience of Tero Saarinen Company's internship programme was priceless. I got to do interesting projects with superb professionals! I ended up working in the field of dance for a long time after my internship, and it would not have happened without the contacts and experience I got at TSC.”

- INNA SCHWANCK, PRODUCER, HELSINKI CONTEMPORARY (TSC INTERN 2013)
