Sara Hirn

Sara Hirn has had a long and varied career in dance, as a performer, teacher, arts manager, and more. She graduated from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts with a BA (Hons.) in Dance in 2001. She is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Cultural Production at Metropolia, University of Applied Sciences, Helsinki, and has taken additional studies in multiculturalism, leadership, graphic design, and service design.
In recent years Hirn has designed new operational models at Dance House Helsinki, and been a freelance producer and a Pilates and physical training specialist for several client organizations. At the moment Hirn is working at the Finnish National Gallery as Creative Producer and Program Director. She was responsible for Tero Saarinen Company’s financial administration and HR from October 2018 to December 2019. In Transit, Hirn is freelancing as production coordinator. www.sarahirn.com
