Antonio de Rosa

Antonio de Rosa is an Italian choreographer as well as artistic director and co-founder of Kor’sia. Born in Castellammare di Stabia, he began his dance training at the National Academy in Rome. De Rosa graduated in 2008 from the Ballet School of Teatro alla Scala in Milan. He started his professional career at Maggio Fiorentino, Arena di Verona, and Teatro alla Scala. In 2011, he joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza in Spain as a soloist and worked in the company as a choreographer. In addition to his artistic practice, de Rosa regularly teaches and leads workshops at conservatories and universities worldwide.

Together with Giuseppe Dagostino and Agnès López-Río, de Rosa and Mattia Russo founded Kor’sia in 2015. Since 2017, de Rosa and Russo have concentrated their activity in Kor’sia as Artistic Directors, Choreographers and Dancers. As choreographers they have been invited to create works for companies as:

Russo and de Rosa have won numerous awards for their choreographies in international competitions and festivals. Mont Ventoux was awarded the prestigious FEDORA VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Dance Prize in 2023.
