Liesbeth Steffens

Violist Liesbeth Steffens studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with Nobuko Imai and Ferdinand Erblich. She completed her studies at cum laude level. She studied further with Jürgen Kussmaul in Düsseldorf. She was a member of the Aitos string trio, the Renoir Ensemble and the Holland Harp Trio, and was co-founder of the Nieuw Sinfoniëtta Amsterdam and is their leader of the viola section. She also performs with the Het Muziek ensemble and the Amstel string quartet.
