Pekka Louhio

Dancer

Pekka Louhio studied dance at the Theatre Academy at the University of the Arts in Helsinki (2004–2007). Louhio has since worked with many Finnish choreographers, including Susanna Leinonen, Sari Palmgren, Petri Kekoni and Tommi Kitti. In 2022/23 he is dancing with Helsinki Dance Company.

Louhio has danced with Tero Saarinen Company since 2009 in several productions including Borrowed Light and Morphed. He is also remembered for his leading role in Tero Saarinen’s Kullervo at the Finnish National Opera.
