Heidi Peltoniemi
Musician (Viola da gamba) – Helsinki Baroque Orchestra
Heidi Peltoniemi received her Master’s Degree (2009) from the Sibelius Academy as a student of Markku Luolajan-Mikkola. She has also studied music at the Conservatoire de Paris, lead by Christophe Coin ja Bruno Cocset. Her instruments are baroque cello and viola da gamba. In addition to her work as a musician, Peltoniemi also produces a concert series of early music in Pitäjänmäki, Finland, and teaches baroque cello at the Novia University of Applied Sciences.
