Mia Jaatinen

Mia Jaatinen is a versatile dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. Mia Jaatinen has graduated from the University of the Arts in 2015 with a Master's degree in Dance and from the Oulu University of Applied Sciences in 2013 with a Master's in Dance Pedagogy. Mia works as a dancer and teacher in Kinetic Orchestra, MMM-collective and has danced in several works by Finnish choreographers. Mia is also one of the founders of the society Dance and Movement (Tanssi ja liike ry). She also produces her own works, the latest being RIEHA (Zodiak 2023) and Red Desert (2022). As a dance teacher, Mia combines her diverse dance and movement background with the somatic practices of contemporary dance, acrobatics, partnering and improvisation.
