Aleksi Aubry-Carlson

Aleksi Aubry-Carlson studied classical composition and organ and improvisation studies in Paris, as well as Indian music at the Kalakshetra Foundation in Chennai. He has worked as a composer and has collaborated with Carolyn Carlson, Sara Orselli, Alessandra Ferrarri, and Alberto Casarotto. Since 2006, he has been regularly composing music for internet media, advertisements, short films, and especially video games. His creations for video games include Xenonauts, Xenonauts 2, Cold Waters, and Sea Power, where he crafts immersive scores that blend orchestral writing with electronic music. He has also composed music for more than fifty large-scale video mapping projects, from French cathedrals to monumental buildings in China, Myanmar, Romania, and beyond, as well as for film.
