Anette Toiviainen (she/her) is a dancer, dance artist and dance teacher. She holds an MA in Dance Performance (Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki). She has completed Bachelor’s studies at Stockholm University of the Arts and at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. Anette also holds a postgraduate diploma at Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School. Anette has worked with Johanna Nuutinen, Thomas Bentin, Ballet Finland, Renan Martins and Skånes Dansteater (internship) among others. She was selected as one of the Generation2023 artists for the Amos Rex museum exhibition and another solo reached the finals of International Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival Stuttgart.
In Tero Saarinen Company Anette first appeared in 2023 as part of the cast Heart Drive by Imre and Marne Van Opstal. She has also appeared in Borrowed Light and Study for Life.
