Colette Malye

Colette Malye studied dance at the Dance School of the Paris Opera, then at the National Superior Conservatory of Paris (1971-1976). At the age of 16, she joined the Ballet Théâtre Joseph Russillo company, where she participated in various creations during 1977-1985.

Since 1986 she has been working with Carolyn Carlson, first as a dancer and then as a choreographer’s assistant for the creations Shamrock at the Heat National Ballet, Signes at the Paris National Opera, Out of Focus at the National Ballet of Marseille, as well as the latest creations of the company Now, The Tree, A Deal with Instinct and Room 7.

She also collaborated with choreographer Tero Saarinen with creations, including Gaspard and Sini for the Ballet of the Lyon Opera. She choreographed the ballet Isadora’s Memory for the star dancer Marie-Agnès Gillot seen at the Franciscaines of Deauville (2025).
