As a designer and tehchnical producer, equally versed in lighting, video and staging, Sander Loonen fills the gap between artistic ambitions and technical feasibility.
Loonen has designed and managed lighting, video, sound and staging for artists and institutions like English National Ballet, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Irish National Opera, Anish Kapoor, Akram Khan, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, LA Dance Project, Serpentine Gallery, Productiehuis Rotterdam, Theatre de la Ville Paris, and many others.
Loonen works together with Fabiana Piccioli through their joint company ARP Theatre.
