Teemu Muurimäki

Costume Designer

Teemu Muurimäki has worked in Paris, Milan and Sydney, designing fashion for major international brands such as Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and the iconic Finnish design house Marimekko. In his freelance work, he focuses on made-to-measure gowns for celebrity events and weddings, large television productions, as well as illustrations and styling for fashion magazines. Muurimäki has his own successful menswear fashion line Formal Friday. His creations have also been shown in exhibitions in Helsinki and St. Petersburg.

Muurimäki’s collaborations with Tero Saarinen include the costume design for Morphed (2014), Breath (2018) and Transit (2020).
