Study for Life transforms Dance House Helsinki’s Erkko Hall into something new and the hall's traditional seating structure is not used during these performances. In this work, the stage is located in the middle of the space, and the performance is designed to be experienced from the stalls surrounding the stage. The stalls are divided into seven ascending seating blocks, labelled A–G. Each section offers an excellent view of the performance, from a unique and varying perspective.

In addition to the stalls surrounding the stage, there are more affordable, restricted-view seats available in the upper stands of the Erkko Hall. You can find the seating map, ticket prices and more information on the restricted view seats below.

For Study for Life, there are tickets of four different price categories on sale. The two first rows of the stalls are A-category tickets, marked as red The majority of the seats in stalls are priced as blue B-category tickets.

Some of the edge seats of the stalls are sold as green C-category tickets. The view from these seats is partly restricted.

Additionally, the seats on Erkko Hall’s upper stands are on sale. These seats are more affordable and give a restricted view of the stage. The upper stand has a separate entrance via staircase. Please note that there is no elevator access.

Wheelchair accessible seats are located on the first row of the stalls, in seating block G. The entry to the stalls is from Dance House Helsinki’s foyer, between seating blocks G and A. The entrance is accessible.

Professional Tickets
Dance and theatre professionals can purchase tickets at approximately 40% discount from the Cable Factory’s Glass Courtyard ticket sales point or online. The discount is personal and entitles the holder to one discounted ticket. Professional tickets can be purchased in any price category.

Pay What You Can Tickets
Flexible pricing: 10 €, 5 €, or 1 €. A limited number of "Pay What You Can" tickets are available for all TSC performances at the Dance House Helsinki. The goal of these tickets is to increase accessibility to performances and provide the experience to audiences for whom the regular ticket price might otherwise be a barrier. A limited number of tickets are available per performance, with a purchase limit of one ticket per customer.

PWYC tickets offer three price options, not tied to specific seating. Customers can choose the option that best suits them. No proof of eligibility for discounted tickets is required when purchasing PWYC tickets. These tickets can be purchased at the Glass Courtyard sales point and online a few weeks before the performances.

Tickets for Tero Saarinen Company's performances at Dance House Helsinki can be bought from TSC's online store. Tero Saarinen Company’s online store is powered by Nordic Tixly Ticketing. Please note that tickets are sent by email from tickets@tix.terosaarinen.com. Some email services may classify these emails as spam. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive your tickets after the purchase.

During the checkout process, you can create your own customer account. The same customer account can be used to buy tickets to Dance House Helsinki's, Dance Theatre Hurjaruuth's and Zodiak's performances. By creating an account and logging in, you can keep your contact information up to date. If you are unable to log in with your current credentials, please request a new password using the "Forgot your password?" function.

Tickets for TSC's performances at Dance House Helsinki can also be purchased from the Cable Factory's ticket sales point. The Cable Factory info and ticket sales desk serves ticket buyers on-site at Glass Courtyard.

You can pay for your tickets in TSC's online store via online banking or card payment through Paytrail, using a TSC gift card, or with Smartum and Epassi cultural payment methods.

Smartum and Epassi cultural payment methods can only be used directly on our online store or at the Cable Factory's ticket sales point. Tickets for Tero Saarinen Company performances at Dance House Helsinki cannot be purchased using Smartum or Epassi mobile apps.

The payment service provider is Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and financial institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the payee on your bank statement or credit card bill and will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is licensed as a payment institution. We respond to email inquiries within 2 business days. For inquiries about same-day performances, we respond before the performance begins if the inquiry is sent before 12:00 on the day of the show. (See ticket exchange, cancellations, and group sales policies below.)

Dance House Helsinki is located in Ruoholahti, at Kaapeliaukio 3, 00180 Helsinki. You can enter Dance House Helsinki’s foyer and the Erkko Hall through the Cable Factory’s Glass Courtyard. The doors to Dance House Helsinki open 1 hour prior to performance. There is a cloakroom located on the basement floor. Dance House Helsinki's bistro Traba is open 2 hours before the show at the Glass Courtyard. Their wine bar serves customers at the audience foyer an hour before the show. You'll also find restaurant-cáfe Hima & Sali (Staircase C) and Cáfe Konttori (Staircase A) at the Cable Factory.

Tero Saarinen Company gift cards are available for purchase in our online store. With a TSC gift card, you can redeem tickets for Tero Saarinen Company’s productions at Dance House Helsinki. The gift card can be used as a payment method both online and at the Cable Factory's ticket sales point. The value of the gift card can be chosen freely.

The gift card is valid for one year from the date of purchase, and its balance does not need to be used in one transaction. Payments are made using the 9-digit code and 4-digit PIN, which can be found on the PDF gift card sent to your email.

Contact us if you would like to reserve tickets for a group of 15 people or more. Ticket prices for groups of over 15 people for Study for Life performances are based on ticket category and are as follows: A 83 € – B 65 € – C 61 €

Send inquiries related to group bookings of 15 or more people to tickets@terosaarinen.com. We will respond within 2 business days. Group bookings are valid for a maximum of 2 months from the reservation date. Group tickets must be redeemed no later than 30 days before the start of the specific performance period. We also offer invoicing for groups of over 15 people. A 10 € invoicing fee applies, and the payment term is 10 days.

All group booking tickets will be sent at once to the customer’s preferred email address.

For groups smaller than 15 people, you can purchase tickets directly from our online store.

You can exchange the tickets you purchased for another performance if there is availability in the venue. The exchange can be done via the email reservation confirmation by clicking the "Exchange Tickets" button. The exchange can only be made once, and the ticket can only be exchanged for a seat in the same ticket category (A, B, or C). The exchange must be made at least 24 hours before the performance begins.

Tickets are non-refundable. In cases where cancellation is unavoidable, you can contact tickets@terosaarinen.com by 12:00 on the day of the performance.

Tero Saarinen Company reserves the right to make changes to the program.

If a performance is canceled due to an unavoidable event, the ticket price will be refunded to the customer in the form of a Tero Saarinen Company gift card. If you do not wish to use the gift card balance for future Tero Saarinen Company performances at Dance House Helsinki, we will refund the amount to the payment method you used in the online store. Please email tickets@terosaarinen.com, and we will get in touch with you. Tero Saarinen Company is not liable for any indirect damages or additional costs resulting from cancellations.
