Amie-Blaire Chartier

Amie-Blaire Chartier is a freelance contemporary dancer based in Berlin, Germany. Originally from Canada, Chartier graduated from Ryerson University’s Performance: Dance program in 2016. The following year Chartier was awarded a scholarship for NOD’s three month internship in Turin, Italy, learning from dancers and choreographers such as Tom Weinberger, Idan Porges (Batsheva), Ella Rothschild, Erion Kruja (Hofesh), Sita Ostheimer and others. Since beginning her freelance career, Chartier has worked with many choreographers throughout Europe such as Liliana Barros, Yotam Peled (mentored by Hofesh Shechter), Shahar Binyamini, Franka Marlene Foth (FMKF Collective), and performed work by Ohad Naharin. While establishing her base in Berlin, she has also become a founding member of the project based company, Yotam Peled & the Free Radicals.
