Chloé Albaret
Choreographer’s Assistant, Dancer
Chloé Albaret studied dance at Ballet Junior de Genève in Switzerland. In 2010 the French born Albaret joined the Nederlands Dans Theater 2 under the direction of Gerald Tibbs and moved to the main company NDT 1 in 2013 under the direction of Paul Lightfoot. Throughout her career in NDT she worked with numerous choreographers and makers such as Jirí Kylián, Sol León & Paul Lightfoot, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Marco Goecke, Crystal Pite, Hofesh Shechter, Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Medhi Walerski, Franck Chartier and Gabriela Carrizo.
In 2019 Albaret was nominated for the prestigious Dutch dance award “Zwaan” in the category “most impressive dance performance” and has won the prize for the same category in 2020. After leaving NDT in 2022, Albaret started her freelance career, working as dancer and rehearsal director, as well as developing her own workshops and teaching methods.
