Young-gyu Jang
Composer, Music Director
Young-gyu Jang is the composer and music director of Saarinen’s VORTEX (2014). In addition to dance and theatre, Jang has a vast experience of various genres of culture and the arts. He has created film scores for South Korean blockbuster films, such as Train to Busan (2016), and plays bass for the alternative pop band Leenalchi. Jang’s work seeks to create unconventional forms and techniques, while also innovatively exploring Korea’s musical heritage.
