Saska Pulkkinen

Actor (TTT-Theatre)

Saska Pulkkinen graduated with a master’s degree in theatre arts from the Helsinki Theatre Academy in 2015. As his final project, Pulkkinen played the lead in the Helsinki City Theatre’s production of Tarzan the Musical (2014). Pulkkinen joined the TTT Theatre in 2017.

In addition to the TTT Theatre and the Helsinki City Theatre, Pulkkinen has appeared in the productions of the Finnish National Theatre. In 2016–2017, he was employed by the Hämeenlinna Theatre, where his roles included the lead in the musical Kalle Aaltosen morsian (The Bride of Kalle Aaltonen, 2015). Pulkkinen has also appeared in film and television productions and worked as a voice actor.

In recent years, Pulkkinen has acted in the TTT Theatre’s dramas Presidentti ja tyttö (The President and the Girl, 2017), The Comedy About a Bank Robbery (2018), Koiran morsiamet (Dog’s Brides, 2019), Katrina (2023) and REIKÄleipä (Round Rye Bread, 2023) and musicals Tytöt 1918 (Girls 1918, 2018), Poikabändi (Boy Band, 2019),Come From Away (2022) and Momentum 1900 (2022). He starred in the lead role in the rock musical Hamlet(2020).
