Tero Saarinen’s HUNT, influenced by the duality of life and the transience of corporeality, was commissioned by the Venice Biennale in 2002. The work, praised by audiences and critics alike, was labelled one of the most significant contemporary reinterpretations of Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. Now, Saarinen is passing on his technically and expressionally demanding solo to two new dancers: Auri Ahola (31.3.–5.4.), known as an extremely charismatic interpreter and Atte Kilpinen (6.4–9.4.), who has a top-flight career in ballet internationally.Read more
